FDT053 | Prison Island
It hardly takes half an hour driving by motorized boat to reach the wonderful west based historic island. It is originally called Changuu . This island was once owned by an Arab who used it for rebellious slaves. Later it was sold to general Mathews who converted it into a prison. With its fantastic white sandy beach and spectacular natural forest teeming with variety of birds and small animals such as peacocks and giant tortoise etc, the island is very famous for its richness in water based natural attractions hence it is among the best site for diving and snorkeling as well. Everything is still existing, although most of them have become decrepit. After the tour return back to your Hotel.
FDT052 | Dolphins Tour
This full day excursion will take you to the southern part of zanzibar about one and half an hour driving from the historic stone town of Kizimkazi . After getting there we take a motorized boat so as to reach the dolphin zone for about five to ten minutes.
After swimming and playing with the very friendly dolphins for several hours you will have automatically been given a chance of admiring the wonderful coral reef, Variety of colored fishes and other attractive marine creatures through snorkeling.
After taking lunch and shower you will be spoiling yourself on a white sandy beach with beach relaxation before getting's back on board for a trip back to the hotel.A memorable experience.
FDT051 | Spice Tour
Zanzibar is well known as the 'Spice Island' as since long there are big cloves- and coconut plantations. Such a spice tour is more than recommended. It takes about 4 hours, includes pleasant stops at various villages to taste the freshly picked local fruits and herbs.
A unique opportunity to visit the local farms and talk to farmers who will show you the traditional spices and fruits of Zanzibar. With the aid of our well educated and experienced guides, you will have known the life cycle and uses of various types of spices, tropical fruits and root crops after being taught in detail. This is a fascinating excursion that winds through narrow bustling streets and alleyways, to the fish and former slave markets, consulates, the Old Fort, the House of Wonders and other historical sites. It also includes a visit to the old Anglican Church located on the site of the old Slave Market city market, and the National Museum. The Old Fort dating back since 1700, the “House of Wonder“, the People's Palace, the Mosque at Malindi, the Catholic and Anglican Cathedrals.
The Mambo Msiige “the imitable thing,” the Persian Baths, the Old British Consulate the Ithnasheri Clinic, and the Market Place,Livingstone House gives visitors an insight into Zanzibar's rich history, including the house in which Freddie Mercury the famous singer with the group “Queen” was born and grew up in. A walk through the winding and narrow alleys and streets will take you to the small exotic bazaars and local curio shops
FDT049 | Zanzibar City Tour
Pick up from your Hotel by our guide ,walk the narrow streets on stone town, as you tour the significant monument like house of wonder, Zanzibar antique, old Arab fort, people palace Museum, old market, tip tip house, first English club, old store market, dhow labour, and spice shops.
Spend the day visiting the conservation area.
Visit also the former horse of singer Freddy Mercury in Shangani.It is now turned into a gallery with African Taalab Music contemporary fiction from all over Africa, America and Europe, high quality artwork, sculpture and antiques, full range of cosmetics and natural ingredients in bottles, perfume, oils, spices, jewellery, good cotton T-shirts and swimwear.
