4-Days Tsavo Saltlick Safari touches Tsavo east West and salt lick. This package is suitable for all age groups and doable throughout all the seasons.
Our lodges are carefully selected from medium, Luxury tented camps to Lodges. The two parks Tsavo East and West are the largest parks in Kenya. They host big populations of Elephants, buffaloes and other big animals.
Most of the remarkable scenaries in Tsavo East includes; the Mudanda Rock and the Yatta Plateau, the worldest largest lava flow. Lugards falls on the Galana River are notable for the shaped water-worn rocks.
Tsavo West on the hand is worldly known as the land of Mzima, Lava and rugged wilderness. The magnificent Mzima springs is the glimpe of the fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water erupting from the under parched Lava rocks.
Saltlick lodge is located in Taita Hills Sanctuary. 300 species of birds have been recorded in addition to other animals.
You get a golden chance to see a lot of animals as they approach the water hole to quench their thirst and through the tunnel.
Salt Lick Lodge has an age restriction for children under 5 years. This is for their own safety as its elevated-on stilts. However, this should not hider families with children as they will be booked at Taita Hills Game lodge still located in the sanctuary.
4-Days Tsavo Saltlick Safari and other safari itineraries are based on full board basis. Other mandatory includes are park/conservancy fees, mineral water, English speaking driver guide, all applicable taxes. Pick up and drop off same point. However, we can drop of a different point as long as its communicated prior. German or French guides available on prior request.

DAY 01
Meet and greet followed by safari briefing proceed to Tsavo East National Park . Tsavo means ‘Place of Slaughter’ in local dialect. Certainly, this park is recommended for photographers with its fabulous light and fantastic views. These includes; the Mudanda Rock and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s largest lava flow. Lugard Falls on the Galana River are remarkable for the shaped water-worn rocks. Besides the big 5, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk and zebra can be spotted here. Aruba hunter’s hartebeest, with its lyre-shaped horns are represented. Lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight.
DAY 02
Proceed to Tsavo West National Park after breakfast. The park is famous for the Mzima Springs, with its unique underwater hippo observatory. Both Tsavo’s are famous for the largest population of red-skinned elephants. The “Big 5” African animals are well represented in addition to other small animals . Kenyan birds as well as giraffe, zebra and plains game can be found here.
Above all, from Lake Jipe to the mountain forests of the Chyulu Hills, the wide range of landscape offers protection to many endangered African wildlife . These includes; the Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, several species of shrew and rat, and wild dogs. Game enroute to the lodge for check in and lunch. Finally, afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at.
DAY 03
After breakfast, leave with game drive enroute to Salt lick . The lodge is ‘Famed for being among the most worlds photographed lodges” . The lodge is built a top stilts overlooking a water hole . Well designed for lofty game viewing from its thatched roof rondavels and walkways. Arrive in time for lunch, after that, afternoon game drive will follow. Animals expected to be seen includes the big 5 , giraffes, elephants and many more. Dinner and overnight at.
DAY 04
