Tsavo East National Park also referred to us as the “Theatre of the Wild”
This is the largest and oldest park in Kenya.
No other place could provide a theatre so dramatic in its act than this park.
The untapped ,the vast untapped arena of arid bush and landscape on which the limitless lava of the the Yatta plateau is unparalleled is worth an exploration.
River Galana is one of the most evocative images in Africa.
Among the features in this park includes Yatta plateau,the longest lava flow in the world which is 300 kilometers,lugard falls and galena river,.
This park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
This park is bisected from the Tsavo west National park by the Mombasa – Nairobi road.
Safaris to this park are available through out the year from both Mombasa and Nairobi.We also do flying packages to this park and with the introduction of the train to the market we have not been left behind. - Roads: Via Mtito Andei Gates the distance is 233 km South of Nairobi and 250 km North of Mombasa on the main Nairobi- Mombasa Road. From Malindi, take the western road and enter in the park via Sala gate.From Mombasa 160Km via Voi gate
- Airstrips: Satao, Voi, Aruba, Bachuma, Cottars, Sala, Ithumba, Sangayaya, Mopeo.
- Train : From Miritini station to Voi 1hr 43 mnts.From Nairobi to Mtito Andei 3hrs
