On your Lake Manyara Game Drive

The park is truly a photographer’s playground and offers some of the best game viewing in the world. You can expect to see many of Africa’s most well-known animals, with the tree-climbing lions . These proud predators lounge in acacia trees practically begging to be photographed.

Bird-watcher On your Tarangire Game Drive

Once inside the park, you’ll see the eponymous Tarangire river lined with acacia and Baobab . Game amble to and fro throughout the day. During the dry season, thousands of animals from the Masai steppe migrate to the Tarangire region.

Exclusive to the park are endangered animals such as the Greater Kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starling.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s picnic areas and take in an unparalleled view of the Tarangire River.

Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Even the novice can expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the brightly coloured lilac breasted roller.

Day 02 –KARATU SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After Breakfast, Proceed to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

On your Ngorongoro Transit to Serengeti

The scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way, we’ll pass through the mist-shrouded rain forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area . This is where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth.

It’s a nearly four-hour drive to the Serengeti park gates. You can choose to break up the drive with either Masai Boma Visit or Olduvai Gorge.

DAY 03- SERENGETI CENTRAL-SERENGETI NORTH

On your Serengeti  Central Game Drive

You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating.

On your Serengeti Central to North Game Drive

We will drive across the plains of Togoro and through the Mbuzi Mawe kopjes (small hills) as we make our way into the park’s northern reaches.

Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Serengeti’s diverse scenery and the wide open Savannah. Your drive will show you everything from the diminutive dik-dik to towering elephants and giraffes.

DAY 04- FULL DAY SERENGETI NORTH GAME DRIVE

Explore the Wildebeest Migration.

On your Full Day Serengeti North Game Drive

The Lobo Hills are covered in large acacia trees which support large amounts of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and the carnivores that prey on them. It’s a fascinating opportunity to see a large number of Africa’s most iconic animals in a relatively small amount of time.

From here we’ll proceed to the Bologonja and Wogatende areas where we will eventually meet the Mara River itself. Home to large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Masai Mara. If you’re patient and a little lucky, you may even get to witness the death-defying crossing itself . This is where wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety on the opposite bank.

DAY 05-SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK –NGORONGORO CONSERVANCY

After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive along the way.

On your Serengeti Game Drive to Ngorongoro

Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you on day two. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators.

You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

Dinner and overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in nearby Karatu Town .

Breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive along the way.
